Bravo guys, and thank you! I finally got around to listening to this interview with Simon K Jones on my walk this morning and it was exactly what I needed to hear. As I prepare to put my novel-in-progress out into the world, I need to remind myself again and again that one reader is all I need. It's so easy to get greedy.
I also want to note that while I've written approximately half a novel, or 50,000 words, I'm not just posting what I have already written. It's amazing how different the writing looks when you consider you're about to schedule a post of a chapter to people who haven't read any of it yet. Just yesterday, I turned Chapter 2 inside out and pieced it back together. I'll have to check if the glue is dry today.
